Miss you both so much- the “new team” is _____. I lost my job a few weeks ago and so now I dont have to listen to them on the morning ride. So happy to find you on line!! Hurry back to the radio. I miss hearing about your family too.
I am sooo glad you guys are still out here! I stopped listening to 106 when you guys left…what a total bummer! Good luck to you guys…miss you so much!
Miss you guys terribly. I finally had a chance to Google you guys again and found this site. You were the only local radio show I listened to, even though I had satellite. Now I surf XM all day. So if you should happen to get a satellite show, let me know the channel!
Looking forward to St. Patricks Day at HOB. ALWAYS a good time!
Wow I miss you guys in the am. Could you come to an akron radio station?
so glad to hear you’re continuing your St. Patty’s Day tradition- we didn’t know what we were going to do this year on March 17th; probably just go to work, what’s up with that??? But now we’re taking the day off again and spending it with you- this will be our 10th year!!!
I’m glad I saw the article in the newspaper. I’ve missed you both so much! I’ve stopped listening to radio (at least until you return). Love always!
Oh man! Thank goodness for that newspaper article about you guys! I have missed you so! I myself has been laid off since last February and its the pits looking for work! This site is AWESOME!!!!!!
Thanks Tom Feran for writing the article that appeared in the PD; he reconnected many of us who were unaware of Brian & Joe’s site. Hope a local station recognizes the tremendous talent and fan support Brian & Joe have to offer to a market.
Best wish and kind regards Brian & Joe. Miss you guys!
Miss you guys terribly. We have imposed a ban on any and all Clear Channel stations. Radio is not the same without you 2 in the morning. Glad to have found you here though. Keep hoping and praying for you 2 to find a new home here in Cleveland.
been channel surfing alot. havent found a home station yet, I do listen to 101.7 alot, but still missing a quality morning show. heck half the time I just sleep in till 11:00 and watch The Price Is Right. hope some body sees the talent and picks you guys up.
Great to see you two guys again! I would not miss the HOB for nothing, we (My wife and about 10 friends) have been there for the past 10 years and we were very sad to think that it had ended. I have not listened to 106 since they screwed up and let you two geniuses go.
Being a Parma girl myself I refuse to listen to WMVX. Clear Channel lost more than the best radio duo on air, they lost a host of listeners too. Can’t wait to hear you laugh on air again.
I REFUSE to listen to ANY clear channel station since you two left! You guys are the best!
Hi, I guess I’m a Trapper fan for now. Hope to see you soon.
I love the idea of waking up one morning and finding you two on the new station 107.3 BOOM. Look forward to hearing you guys again. I can’t imagine that there aren’t stations that are not aware what a great commodity you two are. C’mon Cleveland radio wake up and smell the Brian and Joe.
Sorry to hear that you guys were shown the door. However, you are in good company. Anyone with talent, creativity, imagination, ability to think outside the box, getting paid more than minimum wage, or has more than 3 vacation days, is no longer needed in broadcasting. If you believe that radio should be a “quality product” and be a reflexion of the local area…then you are not needed. The funny thing is that the morons who manage broadcast facilities wonder why listener and viewer numbers continue to plunge. And they wonder why all of the media has lower approval ratings than used car salesmen. So take heart and be thankful that you are true to yourselves and did things right. I wish both of you the best. I am confident the future has great things for you guys.
Valentine took over for you guys? Cupid should shoot that dude in the head…..twice. I agree with the other people, I had him on for 5 minutes and wanted to wrecked the car to stop the insanity. Hope to hear you guys soon on the radio. Clear channel can stick it
My book with the big heart on the cover (just in time for Valentines day) is being delivered to Sarah Palin today, hand delivered…how cool is that?
Ya, know when I saw big companies like Clear Channel putting in interns that had no prior radio experience, “On the Air” in a major market like Cleveland, I knew the dream was over….
It is a friend that I worked with in Los Angeles in 1973 and Arizona in 1976 that is hand delivering my book to Sarah Palin today–for it is NOW dedicated to her, much to the liking of my publisher.
I loved ending my long and successful career at WMMS…(not) I guess it was sort of like dying at the ALAMO with Davy Crockett and Jim Bowie, and it was very cool standing next to “old school popular broadcasters” like Brian and Joe…at least I died a career death like a true broadcast soldier with my headphones on.
Today I am listening to my radio show from 1984 that received a 21.7 12 plus rating in Arizona, that has all kinds of real cool sound bites on it — and it was back in the days of good forward moving — faced paced — Rock Radio with personality!
I may be done (stick a fork in me) a casualty of Clear Channel broadcasting, but at least there is still hope for Brian and Joe, the favorite son’s of Cleveland.
I am hoping you all have a new home soon.
Bring back the good old days of radio, because the new old days suck!
I miss you guys…radio is not the same!!!!!!! I will not listen to 106.5 anymore. It sucks without you!!!
It was a dark day in Cleveland last April when you two left. Effective that day, my wife and I imposed a ban on listening to any station owned by Clear Channel. Every morning as I grudgingly listen to Q104, I hope that you get back on the air in Cleveland soon!
Sure do miss you guys. Decided to look you guys up. This is personal friend #1271. I was sorry to hear of your misfortune and hope you can rebound in a big way. I’ve followed you from the ONE days. You guys can’t do wrong, remember…”Chicks dig you, Mom’s love you and Dads just want to shake your hand!”
I miss you guys in the morning. you made my drive to work go by very fast I will never listen to 106.5 ever again. pam
Been listening to you ever since you joined 106.5 One morning I was listening to you guys then the next day some other guy is on the radio with no evident explanation. … haven’t listened to that station since. I miss listening to you guys.
I cannot tell you guys how much I miss you. You started my morning EVERY morning. I would laugh the whole way to work and then as long as you were on the air. I can’t stand the idiot that is on there now and will not listen. I turn it off until he leaves.
You guys are the best ever on radio/ I miss Brian during football season ( even if I am a hated Steeler fan – Ha )
Please come back soon and let us know what we can do to make that happen.
Love you guys.
Pat
I can’t tell you how much I miss you guys. Every morning I flip through the channels hoping to hear your voices. I think Rob’s idea of bumper stickers is great. Maybe a radio station would see how much we all love and miss you and get you back on the airways!
Hopefully you guys come back to radio soon. I listened to Valentine for 5 minuets and never again after. 106.5 used to have all kinds of variety, now they repeat the same stuff over and over again and 90 percent less 80s.
By the way Brian, you need to come visit the Roll Arena again.
Hey how are you guys doing. How are your families?? Come back to WONE. I don’t know if you remember me or not I’m married to Barb? Are daughter Holly is in a Rock Band called Noize from the Basement. They will be playing at JB’s in Kent on Jan 29th and at Peabody’s in Cleveland on Feb 28th, they are pretty good for 13 and 14 years old. We would love to see you guys.
I LOVED you guys on The End. Started to follow you when I moved here in the mid 90’s and followed you to ever station. Sorry to see that you are no longer on Cleveland morning radio….I’m sure something bigger and better will be coming your way!
Hopefully, 107.3 BOOM will start up a morning show. You guys would be perfect! Besides, I think you need to conquer all of the frequencies (106.5, 106.7, 107.9) at the end of the dial. You guys were at your best when you were on ‘The End’ I couldn’t get enough of that station. Good luck!
Brian & Joe..Morning radio is not the same without you. Your show was hilarious and always put a smile on my face. I am glad to hear that you are going to do your annual St Patty’s Day show at the HOB. Please make sure to include details on your website or FB. I hope you find a radio station that appreciates you as much as we do and gets you back on air ASAP
When will you be back on the radio? I’m dying out here in rush hour land…..
Dear Brian and Joe,
Thank you for the podcasts. I think it would be great if you had a merchandise page on your web site. I would buy bumper stickers with http://www.brianandjoeshow.com. You could sell hat and shirts. I don’t think it would be hard to do. I would love to see cars around town promoting your show.
See you soon,
Rob
Googled your names today because my morning ride has been blue without you – and I was wondering if you’ll ever come back to Cleveland radio. This town is not the same without you! Glad to find you here online. I’ve been listening to iPod and CDs since you left – need the laughs back in the morning on the radio!
Have missed you guys. Hope to hera you on the radio again! You guys remind me my High School days in Parma. Sorry to both went to Parma Senior 88. I also have not listened to 106. Now I have to liste to Trapper Jack or Country music. They are the only two local shows. Just not the same
Stopped listening to 106 the day you left. What a terrible way to do it. Haven’t been back since. Clear Channel, including MMS sucks.
